SMG Cardiology Spec Obici in Suffolk, VA is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant. Includes up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. Work Monday through Friday, 40 hours weekly with occasional float and mileage reimbursement.

Certification required at hire (CMA, RMA, CCMA or EMT-B with BLS within 90 days). Phlebotomy experience is highly preferred, supporting efficient patient care and administrative tasks in a cardiology setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency is required.
• Certification required on hire: CMA/RMA/CCMA or EMT-B (BLS) within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care and administrative/clerical tasks.
• Demonstrates safety and professional behavior under supervision of Physician/NP/PA/RN/LPN.
• Follows department and system policies and procedures; supports daily operations.
