You will take vital signs, assist with procedures, prepare meds with physician authorization, perform EKGs, draw blood, and educate patients while adhering to HIPAA and OSHA standards. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent and CMA/MA certifications with CPR; one year of customer-facing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• 1 year of related customer facing experience required.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• CMA/CCMA/MA certification required (see certifications).
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Accompanying patients to exam rooms, preparing patients for exams
• Performing and documenting vital signs
• Assisting with procedures
• Preparing and administering medications with physician's authorization
• Performing EKGs
• Using CPR skills when required
• Drawing blood
• Providing patient education about policies, medications, disease management, and home treatments
• Stocking and cleaning exam rooms, disposing of biohazard waste per OSHA
• Maintaining HIPAA compliance in all activities
