ECU Health in North Carolina seeks a Medical Assistant to coordinate clinic operations and assist providers with vitals, questionnaires, data entry and medical records management.

Role supports patient care and customer service, maintaining documentation in hard copy or electronic records. Must demonstrate clinical duties and strong time management; BLS certification and CMA/RMA/CCMA with experience or training required.

Qualifications

• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• High School, equivalent or higher is required
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) / Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) / CCMA with 2 years experience or formal training
• Preferred one or more years experience in a clinical or medical office setting

Responsabilités

• Coordinates clinic operations and assists providers with vitals and patient questionnaire intake
• Performs data entry and manages medical records in hard copy and/or electronic systems
• Provides patient care and customer service as needed, maintaining documentation
• Demonstrates clinical duties such as vitals, health history and other tasks as directed by clinicians
