Job summary

UW Medicine Primary Care at Woodinville is seeking a Medical Assistant - Certified (MA-C) to join our team. This full-time role supports primary care providers, rooms patients, takes vitals, and assists with procedures in a fast-paced clinic setting.

The position offers day shifts Monday–Friday with career growth opportunities within UW Medicine. Candidates must complete an accredited MA program and obtain WA MA-C certification within six months, with BLS CPR required.

Qualifications

• Completion of a CAAHEP/ABHES-accredited MA program or equivalent.
• WA MA-Certified or eligible to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Current AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification.
• Equivalent education/experience may substitute where allowed.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, take vital signs, and reconcile records.
• Perform injections as needed.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms.
• Submit medication prior authorizations.
• Recognize symptoms and report to provider.
• Act as liaison between patient, family and providers.
• Assist provider with procedures and exams.
• Perform point-of-care testing and report abnormal results.
• Assist in patient transport as required.
