ECU Health Physicians is a multi-specialty group with over 600 providers in more than 140 clinics across 110 locations in eastern North Carolina.

ECU Health seeks a Medical Assistant to provide clinical support, assist with clerical duties and maintain patient care documentation. The role requires HS diploma or higher, possible substitution with MA training, and BLS certification; day schedule, no weekends; full-time with benefits.

Qualifications

• HS graduate or equivalent required.
• 10+ years of Medical Assistant experience or related experience may substitute for HS diploma.
• 1-2 years of formal MA or nurse aide training preferred.
• Formal MA or nursing aide training may be substituted with six months current full-time clinical MA/CNA experience.
• American Heart Association BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support services and assist with clerical duties.
