Job summary

Armor Health in Columbus, OH is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. You will assist with direct patient care, obtain histories, take vital signs, and support clinicians during examinations, under established protocols.

The ideal candidate has completed a Medical Assistant program with CPR and EKG certification, is proficient with electronic medical records, and can pass Level 2 background checks and drug screening. We offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program with a certification in and EKG
• Current CPR certificate
• Proficient with electronic medical records
• Ability to pass pre-employment Level 2 clearance to include background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Assists with direct patient care procedures and related tasks.
• Assists in obtaining patient histories, takes vital signs, prepares charts and assists with medical examinations.
• Assists doctors in examining and treating patients.
• Performs routine procedures under established protocols (to include but not limited to phlebotomy, EKG's, dressing changes, wound cultures, IM injections).
• Maintains and stocks medicines and medical supplies as necessary.
• Practices safety, environmental and infection control methods.
