Mercy Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for our Howland Medical Center to work closely with the primary care physician to deliver high‑quality patient care. You will review health records, measure vital signs, and prepare treatment rooms for examinations.

The role requires an active CMA certification within 12 months, BLS at hire, and ideally one year of MA experience, with strong customer service and clerical skills to support a busy physician practice.

Qualifikationen

• High School Degree or GED.
• Active CMA certification within 12 months of start date.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• One year of MA/healthcare experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Greet patients and provide excellent customer service in a respectful manner.
• Review and update health records and prepare rooms for examinations.
• Measure vital signs such as pulse, respiration, blood pressure, weight and height.
• Perform clerical duties including inventory, referrals, and phone coverage.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly as they arise.
• Other duties as assigned.
