Job summary

Mercy Health in Cincinnati is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to work with the primary care team, supporting patient care and chart management. You will verify health records, measure vitals, and prepare treatment rooms for examinations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and an active MA certification from CMA/RMA/CCMA or equivalent. Experience in a clinic setting is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Active Medical Assistant certification is required in one of CMA/RMA/CCMA or equivalent.
• BLS/CPR certification may be required at hire depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients and community members with courtesy and professionalism.
• Prepare and review patient charts, verify test results and records.
• Measure vital signs (pulse, respirations, BP, weight, height).
• Handle clerical duties: inventory, referrals, answering phones.
• Troubleshoot issues and support department operations; perform other duties.
