Job summary

Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital in Stevens Point, WI is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join the Plover Clinic Vern Holmes team. The CMA will perform patient care duties under supervision of a licensed professional and may execute delegated tasks within state rules.

This is a 0.8 FTE, full-time position with 64 hours biweekly. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited MA program or 3 years of healthcare experience, CMA certification, and BLS certification within specified

Qualifications

• Knowledge of patient care standards and practices.
• One year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Current CMA certification or registration required or within 6 months of hire.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of clinical and non-clinical tasks in the outpatient setting under supervision.
• Care for patients and assist licensed professionals with delegated interventions as trained.
