Job summary

Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital in Stevens Point, WI is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant, Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Plover Clinic - Vern Holmes team. The CMA/MA provides direct patient care in the outpatient setting and supports the clinic care continuum.

The CMA/MA performs rooming, vital signs, history reviews, and patient preparation for provider evaluation. On-site training is available; CMA may be eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of patient care standards, clinical practices, and safety protocols.
• Minimum of one year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Current Medical Assistant Certification or Registration or must be obtained within six months of hire; CNA transition training is available.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision, including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, reviewing and documenting medical histories, and preparing patients for provider evaluation.
