Mercy Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to work closely with the primary care physician to deliver high-quality patient care in a clinical setting. The role involves reviewing charts, updating records, and preparing treatment rooms for examinations, ensuring compliance with state guidelines and Medical Assisting scope.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED and an active CMA certification, with clerical or office experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Active Medical Assisting certification (CMA/MA) from recognized bodies is required or ABR-OE accepted in some states.
• Experience in medical office setting preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide exceptional customer service.
• Review and update health records and ensure accuracy of documents.
• Measure vital signs and prepare examination rooms.
• Handle clerical duties: inventory, referrals, phone coverage.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
