Greeneville Family Practice, a division of Summit Medical Group, has an opening for a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) to join their office. This is a full-time opportunity on-site in Greeneville, TN.

This role requires a CMA/RMA certification and a High School Diploma or equivalent, with at least six months of clinical experience including phlebotomy. The team emphasizes patient care and efficient clinic operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant certification required.
• Experience with phlebotomy is preferred.
• Proficiency in taking vitals and basic clinical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare for examinations and procedures per physician preferences.
• Record vital signs (pulse, BP, height, weight) accurately.
• Perform phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, holter monitors, and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures and provide patient education.
• Handle nursing calls: triage, pre-certifications, referrals, prescriptions when needed.
• Maintain organized patient records and schedule appointments efficiently.
