Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED. Must be a graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program, including pharmacology and medication administration. Certification/registry must be obtained within six months of hire, with an education agreement signed. Accepted certifications include CMA (AAMA), CCMA (NHA), RMA (AMT), among others. Alternatively, relevant work experience or nursing graduate status is acceptable, with experience including clinical and administrative duties.
• Experience: Previous work in a medical setting is preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire as CMA, RMA, or CCMA.
• Additional Skills/Requirements: Ability to complete skills validation and competency testing successfully.
