Department Details

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support our urologists and provide exceptional patient care.

• M-F 8am-5pm schedule
• Up to $20,000 sign-on bonus for eligible applicants

Summary

The Medical Assistant (MA) works within the scope of practice guidelines per state location, supporting patient care in an ambulatory setting.

Job Responsibilities

• Collects subjective and objective health data from patients or caregivers
• Communicates data to healthcare providers
• Participates in patient care, including preventative care, health maintenance, treatment, and follow-up
• Performs clinical duties such as obtaining vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, observing and reporting signs or symptoms, and performing point of care testing

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant program
• Prior healthcare experience preferred
• Nationally certified or registered as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
• Additional state registration requirements as applicable
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six months of employment
