Role Overview: Provides direct patient care and clinical support in an outpatient setting, acting as a vital team member under provider supervision. Performs clinical duties such as preparing patients, collecting vital signs, conducting tests (e.g., EKGs, phlebotomy), administering medications within policy, and supporting minor procedures. Also handles administrative tasks like scheduling, documentation, referrals, billing, and patient communication to ensure efficient clinic operations.

Qualifications & Skills: Requires certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) from an accredited governing body. Preferred candidates have completed a 1-year certificate or 2-year diploma program. Must demonstrate competency in clinical procedures, maintain infection control standards, and utilize electronic medical records effectively. Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills are essential.
