Job summary

Castleview Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for a part-time, day-shift role in Price, Utah. You will support physicians and nurses with patient assessments, basic procedures, and specimen collection while maintaining clean, organized exam rooms.

Requirements include current Utah CMA/RMA/CCMA certification and BLS, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under supervision.

Qualifications

• Current Utah CCMA, CMA, or RMA certification.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certificate or obtained within 60 days after hire date.
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Works under the supervision of a Physician or Nurse, assisting with performing patient assessments and treatments.
• Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection. Monitors and communication changes in patient condition.
• Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
• Maintains examination areas.
• Assists with keeping patient rooms and common areas stocked, clean, and orderly. Non-Essential Functions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient assessments and treatments under supervision.
• Perform basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection as directed.
• Monitor patient condition and communicate changes to the team.
• Maintain and stock examination rooms and equipment; ensure cleanliness and order.
