Job summary

CHI St. Anthony Hospital in Pendleton, Oregon is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our care team. You will support clinicians, perform screenings, assist with procedures, and help coordinate patient care using our health IT tools.

The ideal candidate will have CMA certification, BLS, and a patient‑centered approach, with strong communication, compassion, and teamwork. This role offers hands‑on clinical exposure and opportunities to grow within a faith‑based community hospital.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Certified Clinical Medical Assistant or equivalent credentials.
AHA BLS within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Greet and prepare patients for the health care provider.
Perform general patient care by following established standards and procedures.
Obtain and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height and weight, allergies, medications and presenting problem.
May draw and collect blood samples and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
Administer medications and/or vaccines via oral, injection, topical, rectal, ophthalmic, and/or inhalant routes.
May perform routine tests including EKGs.
