Job summary

Memorial Health System in Ohio is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to provide clinical and clerical support across primary, surgical, and specialty practices. The CMA will safely administer medications per provider orders in ambulatory care and maintain confidential records.

You will perform front desk duties, register patients, verify insurance, collect payments, and document encounters in the EMR, while ensuring accurate and timely charting and patient education.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited medical assistant program with an AAMA, RMA, or NHA certification.
• BLS certification required.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in clinical procedures and patient care.
• Perform front office duties and schedule appointments.
• Enter and reconcile medication orders in EMR.
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect patient liabilities.
• Document patient data and maintain accurate records.
