Job summary

Memorial Health System - Ohio is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to provide clinical and clerical support across primary care, surgical and specialty practices in Belpre, OH. The CMA will administer medications, document in EMR, and support patient education while upholding confidentiality.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, an accredited CMA program with AAMA/RMA/NHA certification, BLS, and prior healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited medical assistant program with an AAMA, RMA, or NHA certification or approved equivalent required.
• BLS Certification required.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a medical plan of care and assist with procedures as needed.
• Reconcile medications in the EMR with patient encounters.
• Enter medication orders in EMR per policy guidelines.
• Administer provider-ordered medications per policy guidelines.
• Submit prescriptions with appropriate provider order; ensure documentation in patient records.
