Job summary

Novant Health in North Carolina seeks a Medical Assistant to coordinate and assist providers, ensuring safe, high-quality care for patients within the practice. You will support clinical workflows and help maintain an organized, patient-focused environment.

Required is a High School Diploma or GED with eligibility for CMA/CCMA/RMA or ARMA certification within 6 months, plus prior medical office experience preferred and a valid driver's license where applicable.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Current certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire as CMA, RMA or CCMA, required.
• Current State Driver's License (Palliative Care Only), required.
• Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing.
