Job summary

ChesPenn is seeking a skilled, patient-focused Certified Medical Assistant to support physicians and nurses in delivering routine, preventive, and diagnostic care to children, adolescents and adults in a busy ambulatory setting. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant Certification is required, with experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a medical assistant in health setting preferred.
• Medical Assistant Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for providers by documenting history, vital signs, growth parameters and reason for visit.
• Assist with examination and treatments.
• Administer injections.
• Perform visual and auditory examination.
• Perform diagnostic laboratory procedures.
• Perform venipuncture and laboratory tests.
• Maintain documentation related to patient care.
