Join Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic as a Certified Medical Assistant in Kennewick, WA. The role is 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week) with EPIC EMR, and a pay range of $22.29–$32.83/hour DOE. Includes a $5,000 hiring/retention bonus and bilingual differential compensation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited program.
• Graduation from CMA training program (CAAHEP/ABHES), 720 hours incl. 160 clinical externship.
• 1 year CMA experience preferred.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• CMA certification or WA DOH interim CMA.

Responsibilities

• Maintains patient records with updated history, vitals, and treatments.
• Prepares for visits; reviews files, labs, referrals, and reports.
• Collaborates with Providers to ensure schedule efficiency and care continuity.
• Prepares exam rooms, ensures supplies, and maintains sterilized equipment.
• Prepares patients for examinations and explains procedures.
• Assists physician during examinations, procedures, and minor surgeries.
• Collects lab specimens and documents results in EMR.
