Job summary

UI Health in Chicago, IL seeks a Credentialed/Certified Medical Assistant to join the Ambulatory Services Float Team. This on-site, full-time position offers 40 hours/week with dayshift and ten openings.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• Current/valid CMA certification by an approved certifying board (AAMA/AMT/NCCT/NHA).
• Current/valid American Heart Association CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient records in electronic health records and prepare for exams.
• Obtain vital signs and assist with basic tests and diagnostic procedures.
• Support patient flow in outpatient settings and respond to inquiries.
• Perform clerical tasks such as checking in/out patients and handling referrals.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
