Job summary

MultiCare Capital Medical Center in Olympia, WA, is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) for a full-time day clinic position. The MA-C will support physicians and APPs, manage patient flow, take vitals, and assist with exams in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Requirements include MA-C certification, 1 year healthcare experience preferred, and current BLS. Competitive pay and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for external applicants meeting the criteria are offered.

Qualifications

• Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Current BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Organizing patient flow in collaboration with the front office staff
• Interviewing patients
• Obtaining vital signs
• Assisting patients in preparing for exams or treatments
• Performing specimen collection, including venipuncture
• Administration of medications in compliance with Washington State Department of Health regulations and documented competency
• Relaying instructions/information to patients and their families/caregivers
