Job summary

Join MultiCare Health System as a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) in Auburn, WA. The MA-C will work under licensed practitioners, manage patient flow, interview patients, obtain vital signs and assist with exams, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Requirements include WA MA-C certification, at least one year in a healthcare setting (preferred), and current BLS. A $5,000 sign-on bonus with a 24-month commitment is offered for full-time day shifts at Auburn Medical Center.

Qualifications

• Washington State MA-C certification required.
• Minimum of one year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient flow with front office staff.
• Interview patients and obtain history.
• Obtain vital signs and prep for exams.
• Assist patients for exams or treatments.
• Perform specimen collection incl. venipuncture.
• Administer medications per WA DOH regulations and competency.
• Relay instructions to patients and families.
