Job summary

Confluence Health is seeking a Medical Assistant Certified to support providers and the care team. You will handle patient check-ins, vitals, injections, and assist with exams and procedures in a busy clinic setting.

Active MA license or CMA credential is required; one year commitment to Confluence Health helps ensure continuity of care and workflow. The role involves front-office tasks as directed and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of Accredited Medical Assisting program or in externship/apprentice pathway.
• Active MA Interim (IC) or CMA license through WA Dept of Health or in apprenticeship awaiting licensure.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly and prepare them for exam with clinical team.
• Obtain and record vital signs in EMR per protocol.
• Collect medical history and reason for visit; document accurately; assist with injections.
• Administer injections and medications as directed by provider.
• Assist in procedures and minor emergencies within MA-C scope.
• Schedule labs, X-rays and tests; instruct on specimen collection.
• Communicate with patients and relay information to provider; follow up with patients.
• Maintain clean exam rooms and stock supplies.
• Maintain active CPR certification.
• Other duties as assigned.
