Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and nurses in a clinical setting. You will greet patients, take messages, collect patient data for records, and assist with exams and minor procedures.

You will perform routine labs, EKGs, and administer medications as ordered, while maintaining accurate EMR entries and patient records. Spanish language ability is a plus, with a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be a minimum of 17 years of age.
• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant through certification or approved program.
• Previous medical office experience.
• Spanish language ability desired.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with check-in.
• Answer telephone calls and relay messages.
• Obtain patient information for records and billing.
• Assist physician with exams and minor procedures.
• Perform routine lab tests and EKGs.
• Administer medications and injections per orders.
• Maintain patient records and prepare for hospital visits.
