Our client, a leading healthcare provider in Zephyrhills, FL, is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant. In this role, you'll greet and room patients, obtain vitals, document medical history, and assist physicians with equipment setup, ensuring a seamless patient experience. Your empathy and attention to detail are vital in screening patients and providing instructions for examinations and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Escort patients to exam rooms, ensuring comfort and privacy
• Obtain vital signs following organizational standards
• Document patient history, allergies, and relevant information
• Collaborate with providers and nurses, reporting significant patient status changes
• Prepare equipment and supplies for visits
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Current Medical Assistant Certification (e.g., AMT, NHA, AAMA, NCCT, NCMA, NRCMA)
• At least 1 year of recent clinical healthcare experience
• Proficiency in medical terminology
• Exceptional patient care and customer service skills
