The role you’ll contribute:

Assist the physician in providing medical care to patients of various ages according to individual practice policies, professional standards, and hospital procedures. Adhere to the Florida Hospital Corporate Compliance Plan and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Help the practice and physician achieve all meaningful use measures. Demonstrate effective use of customer and superior service standards in both hospital and physician office settings, at all times. Work under the supervision of the physician and Practice Manager/Office Supervisor.

Qualifications:

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• High School Diploma
• 1+ year of related work experience or completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program with externship
• Basic Life Support or CPR certification
• Active certification from AAMA, AMT, NCCT, NHA, NAHP (NRCMA), AMCA, or ARMA, maintained throughout employment

Preferred qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience in the medical/healthcare field, with effective communication skills across all staff levels
