Job summary

Duly Health and Care in Wheaton, IL seeks a Medical Assistant for Internal Medicine to support physicians, perform basic procedures, and conduct onsite lab testing. You will greet patients, manage registrations, measure vitals, and update health records in a patient‑centered, collaborative team environment.

The role requires completion of a Medical Assistant program, CPR certification, and prior MA experience; travel to nearby clinics may be required. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant educational program or higher education courses in health sciences or related experience is required.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs and collecting health history.
• Support physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes and other first aid procedures.
• Assist with immunizations or injections as needed.
• Process prescriptions, address pharmacy callbacks, update charting and filing.
• Conduct onsite lab testing (EKG, spirometry, blood glucose, urine pregnancy tests).
• Maintain clean, welcoming examination rooms and provide excellent customer service.
• Occasionally travel to assist other local clinics.

Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
