Job summary

Sentara Urgent Care Center in Suffolk, VA is seeking a Flexi-time Certified Medical Assistant. The role covers patient care tasks and administrative duties with clinic hours from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday–Friday, and 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

on weekends. Shifts may vary per business needs and availability. Ideal candidates hold CMA/RMA/CCMA/EMT-B, BLS within 90 days, and a high school diploma. One year of clinical/administrative experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• CMA/RMA/CCMA or EMT-B certification required.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care tasks and procedures.
• Performs administrative duties as appropriate.
