Pay Range: $50,000.00/year (fixed range provided by Social Recovery Center; actual pay based on skills and experience)

Position Overview

Position Title: Certified Medical Assistant

Reports to: Program Psychiatrist, Program Director, Assistant Director (in absence of Program Director)

Responsibilities

Administrative Duties:

• Assist psychiatrist during member appointments
• Prepare member charts for psychiatric visits
• Ensure medication logs are accurate
• Support members with medication management
• Gather and confirm contact and insurance information
• Handle insurance and prior authorizations
• Respond to health/medical inquiries via phone and email
• Schedule appointments with the psychiatrist
• Update and file medical records
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and medications

Clinical Duties:

• Schedule appointments
• Prepare clinical rooms and supplies
• Assist in procedures and examinations
• Provide basic first aid
• Take and record vitals
• Coordinate with pharmacies and assist members
• Support medication administration and injections

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a medical field (preferred)
• Certified Medical Assistant Certification (required)
• Ability to administer injections
• At least 1 year of healthcare experience
• Experience with medication handling and medical technology
• Strong communication and organizational skills
