Aspire Indiana Health is interviewing for a Certified Medical Assistant/ Medical Assistant for our Noblesville office to support integrated primary and behavioral health care. This role requires a commitment to whole-person care and may involve travel to other Aspire locations as needed.

Ideal candidates have a two-year MA program and certification/registration from an accrediting body, plus at least one year of related service experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a two (2) year Medical Assistant program accredited by the U.S. Department of Education highly preferred.
• Certification or registration through an accrediting body is required (AAMA, NCCT, AMT, NHA, or NAHP).

Position Summary

TheCertified Medical Assistant or Medical Assistantwill provide primary and behavioral health services to patients/clients as part of Aspire's integration team. This position demands a high regard for integrated or whole person care with knowledge of nursing practices with the seriously mentally ill population.

Education/Experience/Requirements

• Graduate of a two (2) year Medical Assistant program accredited by the U.S. Department of Education highly preferred. Certification or registration through an accrediting body is required (AAMA, NCCT, AMT, NHA, or NAHP)
• One (1) year directly related experience in a service capacity of individuals in need (e.g., children, youth, elderly, physically, emotionally and/or mentally disabled, special needs, etc.) preferred. Previous clinical experience in a medical office setting highly preferred.
• Must have access to reliable transportation, maintain a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance and a driving record that meets the guidelines and requirements of the organization. This position may be required to travel to other Aspire locations for coverage, as needed.
