Aspire Indiana Health is hiring Certified Medical Assistants for Mockingbird Hill in Anderson. The role supports primary and behavioral health services as part of an integrated team, with emphasis on whole-person care for patients with serious mental illness.

Candidates should have a two-year Medical Assistant program and current certification/registration (AAMA, NCCT, AMT, NHA, or NAHP). Travel to other Aspire locations may be required to cover coverage needs.

Formación

• Graduate of a 2-year Medical Assistant program accredited by the U.S. Department of Education; certification/registration required.
• 1 year of related service experience preferred; clinical experience in a medical office setting preferred.

Position Summary

TheCertified Medical Assistant or Medical Assistantwill provide primary and behavioral health services to patients/clients as part of Aspire's integration team. This position demands a high regard for integrated or whole person care with knowledge of nursing practices with the seriously mentally ill population.

Education/Experience/Requirements

• Graduate of a two (2) year Medical Assistant program accredited by the U.S. Department of Education highly preferred. Certification or registration through an accrediting body is required (AAMA, NCCT, AMT, NHA, or NAHP)
• One (1) year directly related experience in a service capacity of individuals in need (e.g., children, youth, elderly, physically, emotionally and/or mentally disabled, special needs, etc.) preferred. Previous clinical experience in a medical office setting highly preferred.
• Must have access to reliable transportation, maintain a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance and a driving record that meets the guidelines and requirements of the organization. This position may be required to travel to other Aspire locations for coverage, as needed.
