Description

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant who has front desk and clinical experience to become part of our team! Advocare Moorestown Family Practice with two office locations takes pride in building close relationships with our patients. You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to help and keep the office running efficiently and smoothly and assure our patients get the best possible medical care.

• Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
• Check in/out patients through EMR system (eClinical Works)
• Verify patient demographics & insurance information
• Collect appropriate copays
• Referrals and Prior Authorizations
• Strong Ability to multitask while answering phones and assisting patients
• Refill medications when applicable
• Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
• Escort patient to exam rooms & prepare patient for exam including taking height, weight, blood pressure, pulse, history, chief complaint, and medication reconciliation.
• Perform EKG’s
• Administer vaccines & run in-house labs

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in medical office- administrative/clinical (Required)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and service oriented
• EMR experience
• Team player
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Must be able to travel to both locations (Moorestown/Voorhees)

Education:

• High School or equivalent (Required)
• Certified/Registered Medical Assistant ( Required)

Salary: $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week (Four-day work week)
