Job summary

Novant Health seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to coordinate and assist providers in delivering healthcare services. You will assist during exams, take vital signs, and prepare patients and rooms for treatment while ensuring safe, quality care. This role requires CMA or RMA certification and a CMA program graduate, with possible registry through AMT.

What We're Looking For

• Education:High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Certified Medical Assistant requirements: Graduate of Certified Medical Assistant program. Certifications allowed through American Association of Medical Assistants. Registered Medical Assistant requirements:Registry allowed through Association of Medical Technologists.
• Experience: Previous work in a medical setting, preferred
• Licensure/Certification: Current certification as CMA or RMA, required.
• Additional Skills Required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing.
