Job Summary

Novant Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to coordinate and assist the provider to ensure safe, quality, and cost-effective service and care for the practice population. Come join a remarkable team where quality care meets quality service, in every dimension, every time. CMA will work 7:30am - 5:30pm (10-hour shift) for 4 days per week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program, including pharmacology and medication administration. Certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire. Acceptable certifications include CMA (AAMA), CCMA (NHA), RMA (AMT), among others.
• Previous experience in a medical office preferred.
• Current certification or ability to obtain within 6 months as CMA, RMA, or CCMA. Valid State Driver's License required (Palliative Care only).
• Ability to complete skills validation and competency testing.
