Join to apply for the Certified Medical Assistant role at ACI Federal.

Manage customer flow throughout the clinic and assist providers in patient care, serving diverse age groups requiring individualized attention. Tasks are aligned with the roles outlined by the Minnesota Board of Nursing and the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice, with supervision from the Clinic Supervisor, Clinic Manager, and Providers. Effective communication with the healthcare team is essential.

Clinical Care

Perform clinical and clerical tasks such as rooming patients, administering immunizations and medications, and collecting laboratory specimens. Depending on the clinic, duties may include telephone support, facilitating communication, assisting with prescriptions, performing x-ray and phlebotomy duties, and conducting lab tests.

Clinic Support

Support clinic operations through front desk/check-in duties, supply management, and assisting with prior authorizations.

Other Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in skills outlined in the NMH Medical Assistant scope of Practice.
• Maintain and upgrade skills as required.
• Perform additional duties to support organizational goals.
• Take direction from healthcare professionals and management.
