Job summary

Diagnostic Imaging Centers of Texas (DICOT) is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant for our El Paso outpatient imaging clinics. You will prepare patients, assist with procedures, manage patient flow, and maintain records in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications include a Medical Assistant certification or diploma and strong communication skills. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus, and a focus on exemplary patient care is essential.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification or diploma from an accredited program.
• Previous experience in a clinical or diagnostic imaging setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Team-oriented mindset and a commitment to outstanding patient care.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams, take vital signs, and document medical histories
• Assist physicians and technologists during diagnostic procedures
• Coordinate patient flow and maintain accurate medical records
• Prepare exam rooms and ensure all supplies are stocked and sterilized
• Manage patient communications and follow-up tasks
• Support front desk staff as needed for scheduling and patient intake
