Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be a graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program, including pharmacology and medication administration. Certification/registry must be obtained by the last day of the sixth month of hire, with an education agreement signed. Accepted certifications include CMA (AAMA), CCMA (NHA), RMA (AMT), among others.
• Experience: Previous work in a medical office is preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire as CMA, RMA, or CCMA.
• Additional skills: Ability to complete skills validation and competency testing.
