The OB Nurse's Assistant is a Medical Assistant responsible for supporting the OB Nurse and the operational functions of the OB Office. This role involves assisting with day-to-day tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the office and the delivery of exceptional care to the OB patients. The Assistant to the OB Nurse contributes to maintaining a welcoming and efficient environment for both patients and staff.

Job Description: Assistant to the OB Nurse

Key Responsibilities

• Provides support to the OB Nurse in managing the operational needs of the OB Office.
• Assist with patient education by preparing materials and answering general questions under the guidance of the OB Nurse.
• Act as a point of support for patients, addressing basic inquiries and directing them to the OB Nurse of physician for further assistance.
• Schedule inductions and C-sections
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the OB Nurse and physicians.
