We’re hiring a Full-time Certified Medical Assistant at our Asbury Park, NJ location. The role requires travel between four Community Health Center locations and includes evenings/weekends. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is available.

VNACJ CHC provides primary care, preventive, and wellness services across New Jersey, with emphasis on compassionate patient care and teamwork. Prior MA certification and NJ driver’s license are preferred.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant Certificate from an approved school.
• CPR certification required or equivalent.
• 6 months+ of supervised Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Experience in EKG and phlebotomy preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Valid New Jersey driver’s license and auto insurance required.

Visiting Nurse Association of Central Jersey Community Health Center (VNACJ CHC) offers comprehensive, community based, preventive, primary care and wellness services for New Jersey residents of all ages at four convenient locations. CHC health care services are designed to meet the specific needs of the entire family – from annual check‑ups and immunizations to sick visits, mental health counseling andcritical prenatal care.

We are currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at our Asbury Park, NJ location. As part of the Primary Care team, this role helps ensure smooth, high‑quality patient care. This full‑time position includes an evening and weekend rotation and requires travel between our four Community Health Center locations—Asbury Park, Red Bank, Freehold, and Keyport—to ensure consistent, compassionate care for every patient we serve.

Job Competencies & Minimum Qualifications

Working Conditions/Physical Demand

: Working indoors with telephone, copier, fax machine, computer, printer, centrifuge, electric exam table, glucometer, nebulizer, needles/syringes, oxygen equipment, personal automobile, scales, sphygmomanometer, stethoscope, thermometer, venipuncture equipment, wheelchair.

In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the compensation range for this position is USD $16.00 to USD $24.00.
