Sentara Vascular Specialists SNGH is hiring a full-time Certified Medical Assistant in Norfolk, VA. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

You will perform patient care and administrative tasks under supervision of physicians and mid-level providers, with responsibilities that include clinical support and charting. Sentara Vascular Specialists SNGH is hiring a full-time Certified Medical Assistant.

Perform patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)

Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (Preferred)

Certification/Licensure

Active CMA, CCMA, RMA, or NREMT-Basic (Required)

BLS is required within 90 days of hire.

Compensation

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $21.69 - $32.14 hourly.

Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
