Job summary

Twin Oaks Assisted Living in Williamsport, MD is seeking a qualified Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our growing team. You will provide individualized care to residents according to each plan of care and administer medications as prescribed, documenting accurately in the resident’s medical record.

As CMA, you’ll assist with activities of daily living, monitor health status and vital signs, and engage residents in social activities to promote well-being, while maintaining a safe, clean

Qualifications

• Active CMA certification in the state of practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care to residents according to each resident’s plan of care.
• Administer medications as prescribed and in accordance with scope of practice.
• Document medication administration accurately and timely in resident’s medical record.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ALDs) including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist residents with mobility, including transferring and positioning them safely.
• Monitor residents’ health status and vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nurse.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote overall well-being.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized living environment for residents.
• Perform other duties as required to provide exceptional care to each resident.
