Duties

1. Inspect, troubleshoot, and oversee operations systems including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing at various locations.
2. Coordinate and complete work orders, perform routine maintenance and repairs of HVAC, boiler, heating, refrigeration, water, plumbing, energy, and electrical systems.
3. Perform general maintenance tasks such as repairs on toilet facilities, replacing lamps, cleaning fixtures, replacing ceiling tiles, minor repairs to floors or furniture, maintaining door hardware, painting, replacing HVAC filters, cleaning mechanical spaces, and handyman work using hand tools.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, plus at least four years of vocational training or experience as a maintenance technician. Must hold or be able to obtain a journeyman HVAC, electrician, plumber license, or Millwright certification.
• Ability to communicate effectively, apply craft techniques, make independent decisions, interpret instructions, and demonstrate manual dexterity.
• Valid State Vehicle Operator's License.

Hold or qualify for other relevant certificates/licenses as required by law.

Physical Requirements

Position involves moderate to extensive physical activity including stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting (up to 25 pounds regularly, 50 pounds frequently, 100 pounds occasionally), and other manual tasks. Ability to speak clearly, hear, see small details, and perform repetitive motions is required.

Work Environment

Work is performed indoors and outdoors with exposure to noise, dirt, grease, dust, pollen, odors, wetness, fumes, animals, insects, chemicals, sewer, water, weather, machinery, and computer screens. Use of protective devices is required.
