Grow With Us Learning Academy in Florida seeks a Certified Lead Teacher to nurture young learners across developmental domains. You will design engaging weekly lesson plans, employ diverse teaching methods, and document progress through observations and notes.

The role emphasizes family communication, routine, positive classroom culture, and collaboration with staff. A valid Early Childhood Credential or degree plus CPR/First Aid is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a childcare lead teacher.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Early Childhood Education degree or equivalent certification required for Lead Teacher designation.
• Strong understanding of child development and current early education practices.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement weekly lesson plans that promote creativity, learning, and age-appropriate skill development.
• Use diverse teaching methods including storytelling, hands-on activities, creative arts, games, and outdoor learning.
• Evaluate and document children’s developmental progress through observations and daily notes.
• Maintain consistent communication with families regarding their child’s day, growth, and achievements.
• Support a structured daily schedule that promotes routine and a positive classroom flow.
• Encourage positive interactions among children and help guide social-emotional development.
• Identify behavioral or developmental concerns and take appropriate steps to support each child’s needs.
• Assist with hygiene routines such as diapering, toileting, and handwashing following health and safety standards.
• Prepare and serve age-appropriate meals/snacks while following food safety guidelines.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment at all times.
