Job summary

TriHealth's Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, OH seeks a Certified Inpatient Pharmacy Technician I to support pharmacists in safe medication distribution across inpatient units. This role involves accurate preparation, labeling, and delivery, plus collaboration with nurses and physicians.

The ideal candidate holds an Ohio Certified Pharmacy Technician credential (PCTB/ExCPT), with 1 year of pharmacy experience and familiarity with pharmacy automation.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; degree preferred.
Up to 1 year pharmacy experience required; more is a plus.
Certification: PCTB and ExCPT (CPhT) required.
Ohio Board of Pharmacy registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician required.

Responsibilities

Support pharmacists in preparation and distribution of medications according to protocols.
Handle non‑sterile compounding, labeling, and delivery of medications.
Operate pharmacy automation systems and manage inventory.
Maintain accurate records and comply with safety and regulatory standards.
Communicate professionally with the healthcare team and patients.
