Job summary

TriHealth's Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support inpatient medication preparation, distribution, and inventory management in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will collaborate with pharmacists and staff across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and perioperative services to ensure safe, accurate dispensing.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, Ohio CPhT registration, and up to 1 year of pharmacy experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• PCTB or ExCPT Certification required.
• Must be registered with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).
• Pharmacy experience and familiarity with pharmacy automation are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with preparation and distribution of medications per protocol.
• Operate and troubleshoot pharmacy automation and EHR-related tasks.
• Maintain inventory, manage stock and controlled substances records.
• Communicate professionally with healthcare team and patients.
