Pharmacy Tech Night Shift / Inpatient / Hospital

Location: Centerburg, Ohio

Qualifications:

• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Ohio.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification from PTCB (CPHT) or must be certified within a year.

Hours and Compensation:

• Position is full time. Person will work 3 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday), 12hr shifts, between 7pm-7:30am.
• Range is between $37,500-$48,000 depending on experience, $3/hr shift differential and a full benefit package.

Responsibilities:

• Assist and support licensed pharmacists in providing healthcare and medications to patients, including acting as a liaison between the public and the pharmacist.
• Prepare and distribute medications.
• Maintain drug inventory and patient records.
• Order, receive, and stock pharmacy medications in a timely and accurate manner.
• Perform IV compounding.
• Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, regulatory/accrediting body requirements, and professional practice standards.
• Perform all tasks under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
• Complete additional pharmacy tasks such as Pyxis filling, sterile IV compounding, performing medication histories, cleaning, restocking crash carts, and receiving medication orders.
