Job summary

Valor Hospitality is seeking a skilled Certified HVAC Specialist (Engineer Class I) to join our engineering team at Hilton College Station hotel. You will maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install HVAC systems across the property to ensure guest comfort and reliability.

The ideal candidate has EPA 608 Certification, 3+ years of HVAC experience, and HVAC school certification. This full-time role requires on-call rotation and a commitment to safety and quality service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EPA Section 608 Certification (Universal preferred) required or preferred.
• HVAC certification from an accredited technical school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems (rooftop units, split systems, chillers, boilers, cooling towers, exhaust).
• Perform preventive maintenance per schedule and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues.
• Maintain refrigerant handling per EPA regulations and ensure safety compliance.

This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing HVAC equipment throughout the hotel to ensure a safe, comfortable, and efficient environment for our guests and team members.
